trueBrowns x Nomad Indies

Last February, we packed our bags and headed to the forests of Koraput, Odisha, and we brought our favorite people along, our tB Tribe.

As a curation partner for Nomad Indies, we co-created a 3-day experiential forest retreat at Go Campify where nature set the pace and everything else followed.

Day 1 was about arriving, really arriving. We introduced ourselves to the land by exploring the camp and the nearby village, and ended the evening around a bonfire, getting to know the people we'd be sharing the next few days with.

Day 2 brought us back to our roots. Water yoga, pottery, mud baths, and sound healing, each one a quiet invitation to slow down, let go, and just be.

Day 3 started before the sun came up. At 6:00 am, we laced up and made our way to Mount Deomali, the highest peak in Odisha. Led by Victor, our movement guru, we walked through the jungle, crossed streams, and climbed our way to the top. Worth every step.

Why We Did This

Nomad Indies has always been about more than just an event; it's about curating experiences that strip things back and reconnect you to what matters. When they brought us on as a curation partner, it felt like a natural fit.

Because at trueBrowns, we've always believed in slowing down, in going back to the roots to find the power within. This retreat was our way of bringing that belief to life, outside of clothing, outside of the everyday, and into the wild.

For our tB Tribe, we wanted to create a space to breathe, to connect, and to just be, together.
