trueBrowns x INWEC National Women’s Business Mela, Bhubaneswar
Last May, we took trueBrowns on the road to Bhubaneswar for the INWEC National Women's Business Mela. Five days, a stall full of our favorite pieces, and a city that made us feel right at home.
The Week That Was
Bhubaneswar welcomed us with so much warmth – and rain. From day 1, people walked in, touched fabrics, asked about the design, and shared their thoughts. We concluded the week by participating in the mela’s fashion show, a first for trueBrowns. Our founder, Udita Bansal, took the final bow.
Udita also sat on a panel with women entrepreneurs from across the country for an honest, grounding conversation about building purpose-driven women-led businesses.
What We Brought
Kurta sets, co-ord sets, sarees and blouses, dresses, and jewelry – our most loved pieces, all in one place for Bhubaneswar to discover.
Why We Were There
INWEC brings together women-led businesses from all over India. Being part of that felt meaningful not just as a brand showing up to sell, but as a team that genuinely believes in what these spaces stand for.
